ACC Leisure Services: Project Reach, Athens, Georgia, summer 2002, Art Coordinator Developed & implemented summer arts curriculum for 40 special needs students ages 8-21. Adapted equipment and activities to meet the individual needs of students whose physical, intellectual, and emotional disabilities ranged from mild to severe.
Monroe Council of the Arts, Key West, Florida, 1999-2000, Administrative Assistant Assisted in compiling and writing successful grants to the DCA, ACE, Very Special Arts, and private funding sources. Created centralized system for managing reporting statistics for the agency’s multiple programs and funding sources. Expanded, updated and promoted the Arts Council’s web site, including outreach to community, development of links exchanges and evaluation and improvement of search engine results. Helped organize community workshops, contests and grant review panels.
